Your body:

Hopefully you’re feeling more energetic as you begin the second trimester. Since you probably are no longer experiencing morning sickness, we hope you’re eating and enjoying the taste of food again! It’s more important than ever that you are eating a healthy, balanced diet. During the second trimester baby will continue to grow at a crazy fast rate, but eating for two doesn’t mean doubling your calorie intake. You’ll start to notice your hair also growing at a rapid speed. Thicker, shinier hair is one of the great side-effects of pregnancy!

Your baby:

At week 14 your baby has doubled in weight since last week and continues to grow! Your sweet bun in the oven is 3.4 inches long and 1.5 ounces in weight. Each day that passes your baby is looking more and more like a newborn. From thumb sucking to toe wiggling, baby is nice and comfortable right where he is.
